Liability insurance offers financial protection should your motorcycle cause damages to another person or the person's property. The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) enforce an Insurance Verification program. The purpose of this program is to corroborate that all owners of motor vehicles registered in Arkansas maintain liability insurance as required by law. Insurance carriers must participate in this program by issuing automobile liability insurance in Arkansas. Motorcyclists will be required to show proof of insurance when registering their vehicle, applying for a license, if involved in an accident and/or for any other vehicle-related process.
