CDL Insurance

In Arkansas, all drivers of commercial vehicles are required to carry proof of liability insurance. This type of insurance covers the other person's damages. The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) enforce an Insurance Verification program. The purpose of this program is to corroborate that all owners of motor vehicles registered in Arkansas maintain liability insurance as required by law. Insurance carriers must participate in this program by issuing automobile liability insurance in Arkansas. Commercial drivers will be required to show proof of insurance when registering their vehicle, applying for a CDL license, if involved in an accident and/or for any other vehicle-related process.
